I love that we have wild parrots living in the city. After 10 years of living in San Francisco, I’ve only heard their calls but have never actually seen them until last Sunday. They’re cute and live in small groups in the winter. Apparently they like to nest in palm trees according to this page about the parrots of Telegraph Hill.
